New Piper Team Members

    1. Danna Jenkins-Secondary Math/Math Interventionist

    2. Becky Ponder-Student Services Director. Becky will work to develop and/or strengthen HCISD's "services and supports" for our students through a Multi-Tiered Support System (MTSS) that would include: RTI, 504, PBIS, special education, and dyslexia. She will work closely with Tri-County in this effort. 

    3. Sloan Springfield-Business Management/Health/Asst Girls Coach

    4. Back in February, the Board approved the hiring of Addie Jeffrey. Addie will teach math at the elementary school and assist with girls athletics. 

    5. Michelle Willingham has also been hired to complete the 4, 5, 6 teaching team.

    6. Coach T.J. Fly has accepted the job as Head Girls Basketball Coach. He has taught 6th ELA, 7th Reading, 7th Science, 7th History, 8th Reading, World Geography, K-5 PE.  

    7. Meredith Fly will also be joining the Piper team. Meredith has a degree in Human Development and Family Services with an emphasis in Early Childhood and Family Relationships. She is certified in EC-6 and GT and has taught 3-5 year olds in Head Start. She is currently teaching 3rd grade Reading Language Arts and 2nd grade Reading Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. The Fly's come to Hamlin from McLean ISD. 

    8. Mike Hurley has accepted the job as the Head Boys Basketball Coach. Mr. Hurley is certified in Secondary ELA, Social Studies 4-8, All Level PE/Health, ESL, and American Sign Language. He is a graduate of ACU with 27 years of experience.
